Scotch Fillet or Rib-Eye steak comes from the front of the animal. Known for the marbling running through the beef, plus it’s centre block of fat, Scotch Fillet is a great frying steak. Scotch is the King of the BBQ, so if you're hosting... make sure to add this one to your shopping list.

Product Description

Uses:

  • Steaks seared in a hot pan and then finished in the oven
  • Huge meat skewers with onions and peppers

Cooking Instructions

Due to the fat running through the steak, ensure the pan or BBQ is hot before placing in. You want to caramelise the fat, rather than letting it stew. Cook on a high heat for 3.5 to 4 minutes, flip over and cook for 3.5 to 4 minutes. Season with flakey salt and pepper and let it rest for another 5 minutes.
