Streaky bacon is the OG of bacon styles… slices of Freedom Farmed pork belly carefully brined to bacon-y perfection. If this sounds like the best
thing ever, you’ve come to the right place!

Good for frying, BBQ and using in baking as a tasty ingredient.

Cooking Instructions

We suggest baking on an oven tray (on a wire rack if you have one, although lining the tray with baking paper achieves much the same result) in a 180 degree oven for 12 to 20 minutes. As soon as you can smell bacon, stand by the oven because it is almost done. Streaky is by far the most popular cut of bacon – but you want to use it in ways that make the most of its ability to crisp up and impart BIG bacon flavours. Think alongside iceberg and custard-yolked eggs in a delicious cae-sal… or lovingly draped around your free-range roast chook.
