We’ve always taken care to ship your orders in packaging designed to keep things cold in transit. But when we came across the Chill Box - a purpose-built cold chain solution that’s new to New Zealand - we knew we had to make the switch.

The Chill Box has been scientifically designed and rigorously tested to maintain temperature throughout the entire delivery journey, in both New Zealand and Australian conditions. It’s not just better on paper - the performance difference is real and measurable.

On top of the thermal performance, we also wanted to get our packaging in line with our values around sustainability. The Chill Box is Made in New Zealand, 100% Recyclable, and compliant with ISO 14021 standards - the international benchmark for genuine environmental claims. The Chill Box uses a double-wall, high-strength board structure that’s been engineered specifically for cold chain distribution. We’ve done our own trials here in New Zealand, and the results back it up - the Chill Box performs in every situation and environment we tested. 

What to Expect With Your Next Order

When your next Green Meadows order arrives, it might look a little different on the outside. Inside, you can be rest assured that your meat has been protected from the farm all the way to your door. You may still see our silver containers that you've grown to know and love around from time to time too as sometimes they're the best fit for your order, depending on it's size and shape.
